Collaboratively Designing Standards-Based Open Educational Resources for Grades 3-12

The Minnesota Partnership for Collaborative Curriculum is a grass-roots effort by over 195 school districts in Minnesota to create standards-based digital courses for grades 3-12 in the core content areas of Math, Science, Social Studies and English/Language Arts (ELA). The project was started in 2013 by local educators. It is funded by direct contributions/fees from partner school districts. The project receives no state or federal funding and is not legislatively defined nor mandated by any state or federal agencies. Courses are created by teams of educators from around the state of Minnesota and are aligned to Minnesota standards. While only the ELA standards in Minnesota are consistent with Common Core, the process by which we have developed the curriculum can serve as a model for other districts, states or organizations. The information below will help you understand our process. Thanks for taking a look and please contact us if you have questions.
